Places to Eat
Is there anywhere to eat out close by?
There are plenty of pubs, cafes and hotels locally who provide a wide variety of food and all are child friendly. For the national chains like Pizza Express and Frankie & Bennys you will need to travel to Carmarthen where you will find a wide selection of fast food, chain and independent restaurants.
Closer to the cottages is the Cottage Inn serving a selection of pub meals just 2 miles from the farm. In Llandeilo there are a number of pubs and restaurants including the Angel, The Gin Haus Deli and The Cawdor Hotel. Just outside is one of our favourites The Plough who provide an extensive menu for those with dietary requirements.
Wrights at Llanarthne is great for brunch, lunch and Friday and Saturday evenings or for a special meal Y Polyn would get our vote or Cafe No4 in Carmarthen.
Carmarthen has some great cafes including the Warren and Pethau Da and a fabulous Italian Restaurant Florentinos.
Llandeilo has some great Dog Friendly places to eat.
Are there any Takeaways locally?
We have several good takeaways locally in Llandeilo. There is an Indian Takeaway, Chinese, Fish & Chip Shop and a Kebab and Pizza outlet but unfortunately they do not deliver to the cottages.
