Mafanwys Ark
Looking for a stay with a bit of a difference why not cosy down with the pigs for a night or 2 of wild camping in Mafanwys Ark. Sleep in a traditional pig ark and experience a night under the stars in the orchard, waking to the oink of the pigs in the field next door. Cook up a breakfast of farm produced sausages and bacon and collect just laid eggs from the chickens outside your front door to cook on the firepit.
Mafanwy’s Ark is dedicated to Farmer Rob’s first ever pig also known to our guests as Grandma Pig. After 9 years she’s trotted off to the pig ark in the sky leaving her house as a wild camping pod for the more adventurous.
This is wild camping! There are toilet and water facilities on site a short walk from the ark but no showers unless you also rent a Cwmcrwth Farm cottage! Mafanwy’s Ark is available to rent from 20th May until 31st August.
Cottage guests can enjoy a night in Mafanwy’s Ark for £30 including bedding, breakfast packs available at £9. Select your preferred night at the time of booking.

"Great location for a family holiday!"
We came for two weeks at the end of August. Mixed weather but it didn't knock our spirits! Managed to get three good days on the beach and plenty to do in the area on the wet days. Wonderful farm. Rob and Fiona have a great business here and with exciting plans for the future I wish them all the best, I'm sure they will make a huge success of it. Lovely cottages, a very peaceful place to be in the evening, all the ingredients for settling down in front of the tele with a glass of wine!
