Last Minute Breaks Welsh Half Term
SPEND Half Term in West wales
Half Term starts on Friday for most Welsh Schools and there’s still time to grab a last minute child friendly break at Cwmcrwth Farm Holiday Cottages. Not only can you snap up 20% off all stays including in our newly refitted Milking Parlour cottage but there are lots of activities to get you out and about at local attractions too.
Check our SPECIAL OFFERS PAGE for exact dates and cottages we have available for a short break or even a cheeky week away. If you prefer feel free to ring Fiona on 07855451444 who will be happy to help.
Animal Feeding Rounds
Farmer Rob will have you all up and out in the fresh air helping feed his animals in the mornings. Brushing Dom and Millie the donkeys and even catching a ride is always a favourite with the little children. Grab a bucket and feed Freddie the Golden Guernsey goat and his girls Heidi and Daisy who we hope will be producing babies in a few months so need lots of attention and extra hay! Not forgetting exchanging corn with the chickens for fresh eggs for breakfast. For the brave you can always help with poo shovelling or take a ride on the quad and for the tractor mad, maybe you can grab a seat in the big orange tractor!
Feeding rounds are finished by about 9.30am so there’s plenty of time to head out locally and we’ve spotted some great things going on next week.
More Animals & Farm Fun
If you haven’t had enough of farms you can always head out to the fabulous Folly Farm & Zoo who have 15% off over half term if you book online and don’t forget you can return again during the week for half price and that’s exactly what our guests have done this week.
If your little mermaids fancy getting dressed up Stradey Park Hotel are holding a special “Under the Sea Afternoon Tea”. Alternatively if the kids prefer dressing up the dog The National Botanic Gardens are having a Fancy Dress Doggy Day on St Davids Day….a must even if you don’t own a dog!
In fact the National Botanic Gardens have some great events all week with
- Birds of Prey Flying
- Learn How to Grow
- Daffodil Hunt
- Free Potato Growing Course
- Wildlife under the Microscope
All Aboard the Steam Trains, Jeeps and Go Karts
Kids go FREE during half term from 23rd February at Gwili Railway and there’s a full calendar of trips so check out their website for more info and to book your tickets.
